American Splendor is one of those movies that really captures the Everyman mentality of the American Dream. Harvey Pekar, a Cleveland based VA file clerk leads an ordinary life, but his homemade comic book adventures into the realms of observation make him a true American Orignial in the vein of Will Rogers and Mark Twain.
Paul Giamatti does this role RIGHT!
