I'm fasinated by the rise of independent movies and American Grindhouse scratches that itch hard. It would have been cool if the makers of this documentery had gone more in depth but this overview of the rise and fall of exploitation movies will have to do.
If you've ever seen Wizard of Gore, Death Race 2000, Shaft or Last House on the Left, you should check this out.
