Review of All the Fine Young Cannibals (1960) by Michael L — 05 Dec 2011
A staggering amount of spirits are consumed in this highly disjointed take on the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Whisky disappears like it's tea on a building site as the characters slide into their own private pits of despair.
It's brave in a sense and deliberately depressing, very un Hollywood, but Wagner simply isn't a good enough actor to pull off the leading male and thus it rather falls flat and his son is a terrible child actor.
Natalie Wood you would though.
