Review of All Star Superman (2011) by Jeffrey T — 25 Feb 2011
This is one of the few Warner Premier titles that stays almost entirely faithful to the source material, and while the animators have done a good job capturing the look of the comic its still sort of an odd, low-key Superman narrative that is outside of any recent continuity. Its enjoyable, especially for fans of the limited run series, but those unfamiliar with All-Star Superman may feel like stuff just keeps coming out of let field.
I hope this does well, because I'd love to see Darwyn Cooke/Tim Sale's Superman: Confidential Kryptonite arc get the Warner Premier Blue-ray treatment.
