Review of Ali and Nino (2016) by Netflic — 20 Nov 2016
It's love story at a time of great turmoil in the beginning of 20th century.
A young prominent Azeri Ali (who is a Muslim) and a Georgian princess Nino (an Orthdox Christian) fall in love.
Not sure how historically correct is this movie but it seems to be a tale about real people.
It is a fascinating story of two young people in love who found themselves between East and West cultures during World War I and Civil War when young democratic Azerbaijan Republic got squashed by Soviet Russia.
I loved cinematography of the movie and performance of the too main leads.
This film is definitely worth seeing.
