Review of Adoration (2013) by Clive V — 02 Aug 2013
Four outstanding performances at the heart of this moving and slightly disturbing examination of the complexities of love new sex in a small isolated group. Robin Wright, In particular, is spellbinding.
Naomi Watts is almost as intoxicating. The atmosphere is tender, idyll tinged with guilt, a place of sinful mythology. Overall this excellent movie is both watchable and profound, uplifting yet ultimately sad.
