Review of Ace Attorney (2012) by Archimedes T — 21 Sep 2012

Liked the game, but this was a bit of a let down.

The acting was pretty much sub par. It didn't have ridiculous overacting that made the video game entertaining, it was very toned down.

The casting could do a bit of work just because they look like they need to be made up a lot in order to get the feeling right.

I would rather have:

Jack Black as Gumshoe.

James Avery as the Judge.

Toby McGuire as Phoenix/Naruhodou.

James Franco as Miles/Kenji.

Topher Grace as Larry Butz.

Jack Nicholson as Winston Payne.

Haruka Kinami as Maya Fey.

Saori Hara as Mia Fey.

Ben Kingsley as Von Karma.

Rizwan Manji as Sawhit.

And maybe Charlize Theron as Dalhia Hawthorne in the future.
