Chinese propaganda, like the snake in the Jungle Book, knows it's better to hypnotize the lazy, mawkish Western audience and engage willing fifth columnists (Hollywood - to which only South Park dares to raise the alarm) to sap its foundation than to confront it with Riefenstahl-like propaganda films (these ones -brazenly imperialistic- are reserved for the local Chinese audience).
