Review of Aamir (2008) by Ajayesh S — 25 Jun 2008
A truly mind-blowing flick. One of the best movies of the year. Shows the dilemma that most mainstream Muslims face when encountering the extremist elements in their religion. Story synopsis - Aspiring middle-class average guy returns home to find his family kidnapped and he's blackmailed to join in the terrorist machinations.
Rajeev Khandelwal showcases his superior acting ability through his helplessness and resignation portrayed perfectly in his facial expressions. Has one hell of an ending. Hats off to Anurag Kashyap for following Black Friday with a hell of a movie.
