Review of A Tale of Springtime (1990) by Private U — 17 Feb 2008
A charming tale of two women who meet by chance at a Paris party.
Rohmer's characters seem so believable that as the movie progresses you can understand them, their flaws and their motives. Not every character is likeable and at times it feels like you're intruding by watching.
Nevertheless it kept me entertained from start to finish.
Highly recommended.
