Review of A Day Without a Mexican (2004) by Mike C — 08 Aug 2007
Why isn't this movie being re-released? With all of the tough talk on immigration and Congress wasting time while causing untold harm to Mexican and other hispanics plus the fact that their skills are needed by this country. I have not heard a word about this movie since in came out a few years ago. It seems like this would be a great opportunity to get the word out again.
My guess is that most of the strongest critics of immigaration reform are people who depend on Mexicans to make their lives better. There should be some close investigation into these people to see how they depend on Mexicans.
Although the movie has some rough edges it does make a strong point about the realities of the good that our neighbors to the South bring to this country.
Let's see this movie again. This time bring an Anglo with you and after the movie discuss the facts presented in the movie.
Let's treat our friends with respect!!!!!
