Review of A Birder's Guide to Everything (2013) by David J — 25 Jul 2015
Bird enthusiast David Portnoy is stuck in a boring and tense lifestyle with his father, who is getting remarried to a woman he doesn't particularly like. So naturally, he takes his crew of misfit friends and goes into the wilderness searching for a bird that is supposed to be extinct. Along the way he finds love and understanding of many confusing aspects of life.
With charming lead characters and a deeper plot than you would initially expect, this indie coming-of-age movie is worth a watch.
