Am I overrating? Well, I'm biased. The movie, however, not only has personal sentimental values but also served as a turning point for the gangster flicks that would dominate HK cinema of the 80s and 90s.
Best example, for me, of the concept of heroic bloodshed and brotherhood. And this role, aside from Hui Man Keung of Shanghai Bund, will be the role that would always characterize that cool guy, Chow Yun Fat.
