Not Woo's bloodiest or most badass flick, but has a very intriguing story that is an obvious inspiration for later flicks like Infernal Affairs. The grainy cameras show that it wasn't the most high budget film, but it is made up for in great story and some fantastic action sequences.
And Chow Yun Fat's performance is amazing.
