6 Years is a captivating young adult romantic film that tells the six-year relationship of Mel and Dan whom Taissa Farmiga and Ben Rosenfield plays. Spoiler alert, the movie has an ending most people wouldn't want to see. Specifically, the film has an unhappy ending that will leave you wanting for more.
Unhappy endings are much more realistic than happy endings. Its depiction of uncanny and uncertain future is fascinating and realistic. It tells us that life isn't always perfect. The performances of the actors are remarkable. I say 6 Years is Farmiga and Rosenfield's breakthrough roles. It has been brought to my attention that the film had no official script. The improvisation of the actors made the film itself even more believable.
