I hope that I rated this movie correctly. 1 is good, right? 50 - 1 is worth the wait. I really enjoyed this movie. I waited a long time for this movie to come to New York. The only theater in New York State that is playing this movie is the Bow Tie Criterion Cinemas 11 in Saratoga Springs.

I just read that yesterday (08/14/2014) was their last day. Too bad. This is a wonderful movie ! Equal to Seabiscuit and WAY better than Secretariat or Dreamer. Great story. As much of a horse racing fan that I am you don't really know that it is a horse racing movie.

The best part was actual footage from Mine That Bird's Kentucky Derby. Calvin Borel was wonderful playing Calvin Borel ! I have been on the backstretch at Churchill Downs and the scene where they are looking out at the grandstands of Churchill Downs brought back great memories.
