Review of 49 Up (2006) by Matt A — 07 Mar 2008
This is my second favorite of the Up films (after 28), primarily because everyone has something significant to say about this time in their lives, from Tony's wonderfully satisfying accomplishments to Jackie's previously unseen pool of bitterness to Nick's dramatic change.
Life just might begin at 49, after all, although if there's anything to learn about life, any one of these movies will be able to tell you about it.
