The movie appears pretentious and forced at the beginning but becomes increasingly charming and interesting. Despite the huge number of characters, and a "forky" numerous short tales, it all makes some sense by the end.

The theme in the movie is how life oscillates with people affecting each other and events transporting through what can only be called happenstance. With the plots involving at least five languages, even more locations and even more stories, it is a fast paced, lazy tale!
