Review of 35 Up (1991) by Jason L — 01 Sep 2008
And so time rolls on. Similarly to 28 Up, it's Neil who is the heart and soul of 35. His story is infinitely heartbreaking, and I can't wait to see 42 to see where his life has taken him. As for the others, they're mostly content, having settled into the routines that make up daily life.
Apted's series is still one of the most humanistic applications of the documentary format to ever grace screens.
