Review of Zulu (1964) by Neil S — 22 Sep 2007
A superb film that while honouring the courage of the defenders of Rourke's Drift also honours the bravery and determination of their Zulu opponents. Apparently, the South African authorities wouldn't let the film company pay the black extras the same as the white ones - so they bought cattle to the same value and gave them those instead.
