Review of Zoo (2007) by Philip B — 25 May 2008
ZOO is a hard movie to digest. Very heavy material that is hard hitting. It'll hit you in the gut and won't stop. This doc-drama follows "Mr. Hands", a seattle man who travels to a farm in VA and ends his life after having sex with a horse.
The cinematograpy reminds me of something out of Terrence Malicks "Badlands". Very poetic. a haunting score.
