Review of Zabriskie Point (1970) by George P — 23 Jan 2009
Of all the late 60's anti-establishment movies, this has stayed with me the longest. Two scenes in particular are the reason: the orgy in the desert and the unforgettable climax. It's well scored, too.
Antonioni's most critically drubbed movie, thanks mainly to its amateurish leads, but I still think it's one of his best.
