Review of Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018) by Jt G — 18 Feb 2018
As a dad who tries to watch these movies with his 2 youngest daughters, 12 and 9, this one was had some potential. But what they ended up doing was throwing together a bowl of mashed potatoes with potatoes, squash, watermelon and cantaloupe. All good things alone but funky together.
The music was decent.
Acting was fair but forced in areas.
Writing is what really was the problem. It feels like theyou wanted to try for another Descendants 1 and/or 2 and that just wasn't going to happen.
All in all a good watch with the kiddos but could have been better: See Descendants.
