Review of Z Channel: A Magnificent Obsession (2004) by Generoso F — 27 Apr 2008
An essential documentary for film fanatics giving insight into the origins of what we now know as the "director's cut". It reacquainted me with films I hadn't thought about in years such as Verhoven's "Turkish Delight" or Stone's "Salvador".
..A amazingly engrossing and eventually tragic doc about obsession, triumph and collapse.
