Review of Your Friends & Neighbors (1998) by Jerry W — 07 Jun 2005
Neil LaBute returns to the big screen with another satire of yuppie ideals; two married couples cheat on one another and then lie about it, all the while engaging in frank conversations with their friends regarding their sexual encounters.
Talky character ensemble is driven by some fairly intense performances (notably Jason Patric as a viciously misogynistic bachelor) and fascinating dialogue scripted by the director..
