Review of Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011) by Ajayesh S — 09 Feb 2011
If there is one movie you have to see, it is Yeh Saali Zindagi. This is one rockin' flick from beginning to end. The script is out of this world, the dialogues are sheer poetry mixed with sweet sarcasm.
Aditi Rao Hydari looks beautiful and luscious, Chitrangada Singh looks fantastic, Arunodaya Singh acts and looks perfect and the piece-de-resistance of the flick is Irfan. Irfan rocks in this pic. Sudhir Mishra has probably carved his name into history for making the best film-noir flick in Hindi cinema.
This stands apart from all other flicks because it is mind-blowing and edgy in its scape. I laughed and smiled through each and every frame of this flick purely because everyone in it feels so damn real.
I'm definitely gonna see this flick again and again. Gangsters, unrequited triangle of love, sacrifice, friendship, loyalty, lust and blackest humor ever, this has it all.
