Review of Wilde (1997) by Marissa C — 16 May 2008
Oscar Wilde is one of my favorite playwrights, poets, writers, and people to have ever graced this earth (and he was Irish!). This biopic does a brilliant job of capturing his sardonic sense of humor and matchless wit.
Fry even plays him so humanely that he doesn't seem at all foppish or overly-arrogant, just a beautiful human being with a lot of style.
