Review of Wild Tigers I Have Known (2006) by Steven W — 22 Sep 2007
Vaguely eery film that plays like a mash-up of Jonathan Caouette's Tarnation and those creepy kiddy porn Calvin Klein ads from the 90's. This is an early adolescence as envisioned by Mark Romanek or Ryan McGinley, where thirteen year old boys with artfully asymmetrical bangs wander around aimlessly in caves and others are convinced that the real way to be cool is to read Vice magazine and grow facial hair.
Ironically one of the main "plot" points in this hazy little feature is the presence of mountain lions, not tigers.
