Review of Who's Driving Doug (2016) by Tooflour — 07 Jun 2020
Who's driving Doug is a bland and stupid movie where no one really cares at all. It's a story about a disabled kid that needs to be driven around places, but ends up going with this guy to Vegas to meet up with someone.
Some girl tags along and they have a bunch of fun and wacky adventures. In the mix, there's a lot of angst and drama that feels thrown in and contrived. I went in thinking either I was going to like the film for some hidden qualities it had or that I was going to enjoy the film because it sucked, but in the end I found myself just feeling like I wasted my time.
The only fun I had with this film was turning on the subtitles and laughing at all the typos littered across the film. I only recommend this if you're doing a study on how NOT to do film making.
