Review of Whole New Thing (2005) by Yokie B — 22 Dec 2007
Very interesting. This movie was moody. Moody as in depressing. The winter, the seclusion, the unapologetically realistic portrayal of a small, sad town, all of it. The story it self was depressing, as were some of the sub plots. Odly enough, there really isn't that terribly much to be depressed about in this movie, yet it still comes off as a major downer.
The ending didn't seem quite right.
None the less, worth a watch or two.
