Review of Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008) by Nordic S — 25 Oct 2008
This movie was great! In his usual affable style, Morgan Spurlock travels to several countries in the Middle East and Central Asia and talks with people to find out what they think of America and where Osama bin Laden is.
Everyone in the Arab world and Afghanistan/Pakistan welcomed him with open arms--the only problem he had was in the Orthodox Jewish section of Israel, he was yelled at, pushed and shoved out of the area just for asking a few questions.
After completing his tour of the Middle East, he walked away with many of us who know and love the Arab and Central Asian world already know--everyone wants the same thing, safety, security and happiness for their families; we're not that different.
Good movie!! ((oh, and in the plot synopsis above, it's not "Arabic" people...it's Arab people; not sure who wrote that description??)).
