Wonderfully written and acted, this film is a gritty, realistic look at how things can so easily go wrong, and how it's difficult to get back on your feet if you have no one to help you. Some language, yes, but the movie is true to life - much more than many would like to think about.
The entire cast, especially the family (John Leguizamo, Leonor Varela, David Castro and Samantha Rose) were phenomenal. I was brought to tears more than once with this film.
