I was dying to see this movie for years now...I have to say, it was nothing uber-special (nothing like the Germs in person--go to a show!). However, I really appreciated how the film made a mythical punk rock icon into a very human boy.
If the filmmakers hadn't gone that route, it would have made for a very UNcompelling flick.
