Review of What Richard Did (2012) by Tom E — 04 Feb 2013
The fall of teenage innocence, and the near Shakespearean coming of age is handled well in this film that has enough momentum to keep you engaged and enough artistry to be the director's calling card.
Somehow though, it left me unsatisfied, when all of these elements in their own right are pleasing. Maybe seeing it in the same 7 days as Django and Lincoln didn't help.
