It's not free from the symptoms of this kind of indie micro-budget movie - too many bland indie rock songs on the soundtrack, an over-reliance on flashbacks, slightly over the top performances - but a solid character-driven story pulls it through.
Nothing extraordinary, but a compelling little film.
