Review of Welcome to Willits (2016) by Ria B — 30 Sep 2017
Clever, rhythmic, visually appealing and the best cocktail of hilarious and frightening, Welcome to Willits is the kind of film that sticks with you. Great for dates, age appropriate sleepover parties and surprisingly good for feminists - the writing is conscientious while maintaining the ridiculousness and gory aspects one craves from a classic creature feature.
Bill Sage is fantastic - you can't take your eyes off him and Sabina Gadecki is lovable with Anastasia Baranova sweetly and strongly rounding out this horrifying family crisis. A must see for fans of comedic horror.
