I get dressed, drive in my car and pay to see movies that affect me. Movies that make me think or see some point or aspect of life differently. That's what happened when I watched Welcome to the Riley's.

I went in not even thinking of what might happen to parents who loose their children horrifically. Or a young girl who has been used and abused so much by adults that she can't even love or respect herself.

I learned that we all have our own coping mechanisms when dealing with trauma. Sometimes its hidden within the four walls of our home, and sometimes we wear our pain for everyone to see.
