Totally not what I was expecting. The trailer for the film on another DVD made this look like an intense Korean War film - but in reality is a magnificent human comedy with copious amounts of surrealism.
Imagine, if possible, Brotherhood meets Amelie! A remarkable cinematic tour-de-force of anti-war satire and profound humanity. One of my new favourite films of all time and one that shouldn't be missed!
