Review of We Have a Pope (2011) by Muhammad F — 06 Nov 2011
This film is all about being a human & responsibility.
How a thing that burdens you made you go something unexpected.
Beautifully acted by the legendary Michel Piccoli, he delivered a sorrowful, sad-eyed, depressed as a normal human that will lead all the Catholics. Though some will said Poccoli's performance a dry one, but I would say his performance at the top of his class. Well, ever heard of an anxious Pope who afraid and don't want to be a leader?
Covered by some humor, the mild plot line with the sorrowful Pope (Piccoli) really made this film interesting. Especially in a very moving scene when he rehearses his doubts aloud on a crowded bus. I won't spoil any of the plot, you just have to watch it yourself.
