Review of Wavelength (1967) by Eric B — 09 Mar 2010
It has been refered to as the greatest endurance test cinema has to offer many times. It runs almost 45 minutes, and all you get is one image with inventive sound editing and color juxtapositions. Nevertheless, I must applaud Michael Snow's ultimate boldness and experimental brilliance. If anybody came across with me and said that this underground, art house, structural masterpiece is a landmark of avant-garde cinema, I'd believe him. This is an unrepeatable experience.
98/100.
