Aesthetically gorgeous, ideologically muddled. As an act of replication, it's tops, but I'm less sure of it as an alleged satire. Of course, if the film had been more overtly parodic or didactic it wouldn't really have worked either, so I'm not sure what I'd add, necessarily.
It runs long, and watching the main character get assaulted over and over gets exhausting.
