Review of Vexille (2007) by Brett M — 06 Jul 2008
Vexille is yet another visually stunning animated film out of Japan. The animation is breath-taking, the action incredible and the package is heightened by the usual thumping soundtrack from Paul Oakenfold.
Sadly, one dimensional characters and a standard plot (mad scientist? check! unilateralism is bad? check! evil corporations experimenting on unsuspecting citizens? check!) mar an otherwise beautiful film.
