Review of Vertigo (1958) by Tanner B — 27 Jun 2018
Vertigo (1958) ???? / ????
Fascinating, brilliant film of San Francisco detective's destructive obsession with blond. A very personal film for Alfred Hitchcock, and a testament (played by Jimmy Stewart) for how the man used, feared and tried to control women. As spellbinding an experience as anything ever made by a great director in the twilight of his career.
