Review of Veronica Guerin (2003) by David S — 05 Aug 2007
The only thing that outshines Kate Blanchett in this movie is the choice of musical score. Her portrayal of Guerin is quite powerful, accentuated with the brilliant score. The final scene is brilliant, with a young Brian O'Donnell singing "The Fields of Athenwry" to the orchestral melody.
It's even more powerful knowing that this actually happened.
