Review of Vernon, Florida (1981) by James K — 17 Sep 2008
A quirky, amusing, and short documentary (50 min) from around 1980 that introduces the viewer to the eccentric folks that populated this rural small town. The movie simply features different residents (who trend towards the elderly) talking into the camera about things that interest them.
Worth watching, partiularly since eccentric characters like these seem tougher to find these days in our information age that homogonizes culture.
