Review of Undrafted (2016) by Ron T — 24 Dec 2018
I understand nothing about baseball but this movie is absolutely brilliant. I love the dialogue, I love the bond between teammates, I love the great casting and I cannot get over how a low budget movie can make a topic of a non-important summer thing into something that is a championship for the soul.
Hell I am all for the underdog and though I don't understand anything about baseball, I understand that Maz not getting drafted sucks big time but in this game he shows off his skills and even I can see that there is something special going on here.
I love this movie and highly recommend for a feel good time when you're feeling low, when you're bored or just looking for something that is not going to deeply emotionally traumatize you. This is a really well done film.
