Review of Under the Mountain (2009) by Beth D — 15 Dec 2009
A movie set in New Zealand, with New Zealand actors and probably about some New Zealand legend gets released in New Zealand. Whoa.
The plot's the simple usual: retrieve an ancient stone and cast it into the fire to destroy evil enemies from taking over the world. The good guys triumph over the bad only after one of the good guys gets egoistic and has his partner save the day because of his/her (in this case her) belief and determination. The power from within helps...blah blah blah....
Yeah. Thank you for that...again.
In conclusion: This movie is probably gonna go only as far as the Oceanic region.
PS: Based on the trailer and all the posters everywhere, I have come to a conclusion that Rachel McAdams is steamy hot and has always been, I still don't like Jude Law although he looks rather cool and Robert Downey Jr. is just plain sexy. I wanna watch this. Christmas gift, anyone?
