Review of Twentynine Palms (2003) by Zachary S — 05 Jun 2007
There's a lot to say about this film. It's tedeious and monotonous. It's not enjoyable. But I never turned it off or wanted to stop watching it.
The movie is never beautiful.
It is obsessed with sex and violence in America. The director said that the horror genre was his pretext for the film since it best represents American film. Ultimate tragedy.
