Mix 'Rad' with 'Mad Max', add dashes of 8 bit video games and modern mumble-core love stories and skew it through a nostalgic prism of 80's childhood imagination. It subverts and eclipses its b-grade framework and becomes a brutally graphic yet tenderly sweet one of a kind experience.
