Tully has more wit and heart than any other movie this year and stands out in a summer season about to be bombarded by blockbusters. Theron is outstanding, I'd say nomination worthy, and Davis is also great.

Tully makes you laugh throughout and ponder how difficult but rewarding motherhood is, but with the thought provoking twist at the end, Tully rises to a new level of genius, reminding us that while we may become completely new people, we can never forget the spirit of our past.
